- 2 Garlic cloves
- 1/2 teaspoon Salt
- 3/4 cup Tahini paste
- 1/2 cup Lime juice (or lemon juice)
- 1/4 cup Cold water
- 1 cup Fresh chopped parsley leaves, stems removed (optional)
Instructions
- Mince the garlic and season with salt.
- Add minced garlic, tahini paste, and lime juice to the bowl of a food processor.
- Blend until smooth and creamy. It will be thick as it emulsifies.
- Add cold water gradually while blending, until you reach the desired consistency.
- Transfer the tahini sauce to a serving bowl.
- Stir in fresh chopped parsley, if using. This recipe makes about 1 1/2 cups of sauce.
Notes
- This tahini sauce can be made ahead of time and stored in the fridge for 2 to 3 days.
