Ingredients

  • 2 Garlic cloves
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 3/4 cup Tahini paste
  • 1/2 cup Lime juice (or lemon juice)
  • 1/4 cup Cold water
  • 1 cup Fresh chopped parsley leaves, stems removed (optional)

Instructions

  1. Mince the garlic and season with salt.
  2. Add minced garlic, tahini paste, and lime juice to the bowl of a food processor.
  3. Blend until smooth and creamy. It will be thick as it emulsifies.
  4. Add cold water gradually while blending, until you reach the desired consistency.
  5. Transfer the tahini sauce to a serving bowl.
  6. Stir in fresh chopped parsley, if using. This recipe makes about 1 1/2 cups of sauce.

Notes

  • This tahini sauce can be made ahead of time and stored in the fridge for 2 to 3 days.
