Lo Mein Soy Noodles

Ingredients

  • 2 teaspoon Sesame oil (toasted)
  • 2 teaspoon Soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Dark soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Mirin
  • 1 lb Lo mein noodles
  • 2 tablespoon Oil
  • 8 Green onions, ends trimmed, cut into 2 inch sections
  • 2 Garlic cloves, chopped

Instructions

  1. Mix sesame oil, soy sauce, dark soy sauce, oyster sauce, and mirin in a small bowl. Set aside.
  2. Cook noodles per package directions. Drain and give them a quick rinse under tap water to prevent sticking together as they sit.
  3. Heat oil in a large deep non-stick skillet or wok over high heat. Add the white part of green onions, stir for 20 seconds. Add garlic and stir for 10 seconds or until light golden.
  4. Add noodles then pour in the prepared sauce. Toss for 1 1/2 minutes.
  5. Add green onions and toss until just wilted, about 20 seconds. Serve immediately.
