Kebab Shop Chili Sauce

Ingredients

  • 3 Chili Peppers, Medium Hot (or red pepper flakes)
  • 2 Garlic cloves
  • 1 Shallot
  • 14.5 oz can Diced Tomatoes
  • 5 tablespoons Harissa paste
  • 1 teaspoon Brown sugar
  • 1 pinch Cayenne pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil over low heat in a pan. Add half of the garlic, half of the shallot, and the chillies (or red pepper flakes). Saute until fragrant and the ingredients start to sizzle. Remove from heat.
  2. In a food processor, combine diced tomatoes, harissa paste, remaining garlic and shallots, brown sugar, cayenne pepper, apple cider vinegar, and the oil-infused mixture from the pan.
  3. Blend the ingredients until reaching the desired consistency.
