Ingredients

  • 8 oz. Ribeye, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 Onion, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons Soy Sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Honey
  • 1 tablespoon Mirin
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame Oil
  • 1 tablespoon (approximately 3 cloves) Chopped Garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 2 Green Onions, cut into 1½-inch long
  • 1 teaspoon Sesame Seeds

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix chopped garlic, sliced onion, soy sauce, honey, mirin, sesame oil, and black pepper.
  2. Add thinly sliced ribeye to the marinade. Ensure the meat is well coated. Let it marinate for at least 10 minutes.
  3. Heat a pan or grill over medium-high heat. Cook the marinated ribeye slices until they are cooked through and slightly caramelized.
  4. Add green onions during the last few minutes of cooking, allowing them to soften slightly.
  5. Sprinkle sesame seeds over the Bulgogi before serving.

Notes

  • Serve the Bulgogi over steamed rice or wrapped in lettuce leaves for a delicious Korean meal!
